Giving an FTP User access to the ManageSite Interface
The Manage Site Interface allows you FTP User
Management, Database Management, SSL Management, FrontPage Management, Log File
Management etc. You should give access to the ManageSite Interface only to
trusted users. A user having access to this interface is known as a "System
Admin" for this website.
- Go to the Login page of the Manage Site
Interface i.e.
http://icannbudgetDOTorg/managesite
- Login using the "Default User's" Username and
Password. You can also use any other FTP User's details who has been given
System Admin rights.
- Click on the "FTP User Manager" icon
- Click on the applicable "Modify FTP User"
button. This is the first button in the "Action" column and is located in the
same row as the username whom you want to give System Admin rights to.
- You can choose to make this user a "System
Admin" by ticking the system admin checkbox. This will give the user access to
all parts of your Manage Site Interface over and above FTP access to your
website.
- Click on the "Submit" button
